5 Tips To Squeeze Reading Into Your Day

There's all these books that you want to read but you may be thinking, “Romi, I've already got a stack next to my bed that I can’t seem to ever get to, and instead of being brain food, they’re just making me feel guilty.”

I get it. I’ve been there. It can be hard to find time to read, especially when you’re trying to build your own empire AND tend to your kids and your hubby and your pets AND get a shower in. And then there are lots of you who also have day jobs on top of it all.

Be Brave in Your Bathing Suit

I recently posted this pic of me jumping off the side of a boat in the South of France in my bikini. I thought it was the perfect image to celebrate how nine-years ago I took a big leap and started my own business.

I couldn't believe how many notes I got saying “atta girl” or “you're so brave” or “I wish I was confident enough to do that”. Well, it wasn’t always the case.

How Badly Do You Want It?

This is a picture of me flying over the Atlantic, nestled in a first class down comforter. If you’ve never had the opportunity to fly this way, I’m going to honest—it doesn’t suck. You arrive at your destination refreshed and ready for whatever adventures lie ahead, without a kink in your neck or bags under your eyes.

One Word Could Change Your Year

For the past 5 years, long before it was a “thing” all over the place with bracelets and Today Show coverage, I’ve been choosing my ONE WORD for the year and asking our team to do it with me. I happened upon the concept in a random article I read that December. One of those times when something finds you at exactly the right time. I was looking for a way to kick off the new year with intention but had long since come to believe that resolutions weren’t the ticket. I knew I wasn’t alone in having a pile of neglected disappointments and failures every year by around mid-February.

Being Grateful When Life Splays You Out

I’m writing this on a Sunday morning after snapping this picture of our puppy, Mazel. His splayed-out self perfectly captures what our whole family looks and feels like after:

Procrastination will delay your life

Procrastination Will Delay Your Life

We all procrastinate. Hell, just this morning I delayed my workout for 2 hours because I just couldn’t bring myself to do it before all the coffee had kicked in. Those little choices we make every day to push aside to-do items and push ahead deadlines can wreak havoc on our productivity. And, over time, can delay our success levels in a big way.

How to Eliminate Time-Suckers

It’s #TransformationTuesday in this episode of LiveFullOutTV, and I'm talking about how to find more time in our days for the important stuff, including building a life-changing business. I’m fielding a question from a busy mom who’s overwhelmed and constantly scrambling for more time, including time for her business. I’m excited to share one thing that’s helped me be more productive, efficient and able to focus on the things that are most important to me. It’s not only been key to my success, it’s also been key to my sanity as I’ve grown a large, lucrative business around our kids, travel, community service and a rich social life. Let me help you identify and eliminate your Time-Suckers. Continue reading “How to Eliminate Time-Suckers”

Choose One Word to Live Full Out

If you read my New Year’s blog last year, I shared with you a process I went through (and asked our team to do) to prepare for the new year. It’s about what each of us want out of this year and what we're willing to do to make it happen.

Once the ball drops, we’re used to hearing and seeing “New Year, New You.” But I think the greatest growth in life – and the greatest rewards – come from being brave enough to hold up a mirror, acknowledge our challenges and shortcomings, and dedicate ourselves to self-improvement.
